Chris Tanesv says the Canucks don’t need to make any major changes to their roster this season and that it will be up to the players and their coach to figure out what that is.
The Canucks, who play their first game of the season at Rogers Arena against the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday, have won three of their past four and sit in second place in the Pacific Division.
Tanesv, who has led the Canucks to four consecutive Pacific Division titles and two Presidents’ Trophies, said it’s not as if the team is going to be the first team in the league to win every game.
“I don’t think there’s a need to go out and change everything, I think it’s just a matter of getting it right,” he said.
“We’re not going to go and change anything.
We’re going to play as we always have, whether it’s on the road or in our building, so we’ll figure it out.”
The Canucks will face off against the Oilers on Thursday.
