Apple is planning to begin selling Apple Watches in stores in fall, with the devices set to come in a variety of styles and colors, a company official told CNBC.
The company said that the wearable will be available for purchase starting in early November for $399.
Apple will sell the Apple Watch in stores beginning in October, the official said, adding that the devices will be sold by authorized Apple stores.
The official said that Apple is expecting to have about 20,000 watches in the store by the end of the year.
Apple launched the Apple Watcheltastic in late November and has sold nearly 1 million units so far.
